Troubleshooting Guide
Full Reset (Recommended for Major Issues)
If you have a major problem and want to fully reset, follow these steps:
- Uninstall CoreFinder from Windows Control Panel (Apps & Features / Add or Remove Programs).
-
Fully remove application data by deleting these folders:
C:\ProgramData\RenderfixC:\Users\<YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Renderfix
- Download the latest installer from our website and install it again.
Important
Sometimes the issue can persist due to the repository. If multiple PCs on your network are connected to the same repository, they may also need the same treatment (clean-up and reinstall) to fully resolve the problem.

Language Related Problems
Please use the English version of 3ds Max with CoreFinder. At this time, CoreFinder is not compatible with non‑English 3ds Max builds.
Use standard English (ASCII) characters for camera names, file names, and paths. Some Unicode characters can cause issues — the most problematic observed so far is the Norwegian letter Æ. Single non‑ASCII letters may also break workflows while other Unicode characters might not. To be safe, please avoid non‑English characters in names.
